CHE 1111 - General College Chemistry I with Lab 5 Credits 45 Lecture Hours 60 Lab Hours
Prerequisite(s): College Readiness in English and MAT 1340 or higher and (CHE 1011 or High School Chemistry)
Focuses on basic chemistry and measurement, matter, chemical formulas, reactions and equations, stoichiometry. This course covers the development of atomic theory culminating in the use of quantum numbers to determine electron configurations of atoms, and the relationship of electron configuration to chemical bond theory.
